1991	Establishing affiliation with the Studium Biblicum Franciscanum in Jerusalem
1991	First Diploma Programme Graduation Ceremony
1992	The General office was relocated from the Diocesan Centre to the Catholic Institute for Religion and Society, 130 Waterloo Road, Kowloon.
1992	A Graduate Representative was elected and was invited to attend the Executive Council Meetings to strengthen the bond between the Institute and the students.
1994	Open Lecture: New Covenant, New Life (Jer30-31) by Rev. G. Fischer, SJ (Lecturer, Theology Faculty, University of Innsbruck)
Sept 1994	Open Lecture: Archaeology and the New Testament by Rev. A. Niccacci, O.F.M. (Rector of Studium Biblicum Franciscanum, Jerusalem)
July 1996	The General Office was relocated to the Franciscan House, 133 Waterloo Road
June 1997	HKCBI became an Associate Member of the Catholic Biblical Federation
Dec 1997	The Franciscans of Salerno and the Mission Office of the Salerno Franciscans in Italy offer three annual bible prizes to the top students in our Diploma Programme through the Studium Biblicum of Hong Kong.
